Experience
David Wills is a sustainability business leader and strategic advisor who is based in Sydney and has over 30 years of industry and sustainability advisory experience. He has an engineering background, starting his career as a refinery engineer followed by a range of technical, management and business leadership roles in industry and consulting. Prior to co-founding Envest Global in 2020, David spent 13 years at CH2M HILL and 14 years at ERM, one of the world’s leading sustainability advisory firms. During his time with ERM he was Business Development Director for SEA and India (2006-07), Managing Director for the Australia, NZ, Indonesia and PNG businesses (2007-13), global managing partner for the Chevron key client account (2013-15), and Asia Pacific Commercial Director (2015-20).
His professional experience spans multiple industries and geographies, having lived and worked in Sydney, Hong Kong (1999-2001), Singapore (2006-07) and San Francisco (2013-2015). During his career he has provided strategic advice to significant global clients including Chevron, Dow, Qantas, Duke Energy, Rio Tinto, Nike, Shell and Engie.
His focus in recent years has been on supporting multinational clients adapt to the low carbon economy transition and to achieve net zero carbon emissions through the development and implementation of innovative carbon reduction and investment strategies.
BRETT MITSCH

Experience
Brett Mitsch is a senior infrastructure advisor with over 30 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, sustainability, climate change, funds management and civil engineering, particularly in the power, utility and infrastructure sectors. Brett is based in Melbourne and has worked for a number of organisations in the USA and Australia, including ERM, Hastings Funds Management (where he was the portfolio manager for a A$6.6Bn unlisted infrastructure fund), Anglo American, China Light and Power, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and Melbourne Water.
Brett is the holder of two master’s degrees (MBA and Engineering Science), an undergraduate honors degree in civil engineering, is a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
JOHNNY THORSEN

Johnny Thorsen is a globally recognised travel technology futurist focusing on the intersection of new emerging technologies and the potential for innovation, automation and optimisation within the travel industry.
Johnny is based in Silicon Valley, California where he currently works for American Express Digital Labs as the VP of Strategy and Innovation, in addition to serving as a board member or strategic advisor for a number of startups and scaleups located around the world.
Prior to working for American Express Johnny has held senior executive positions with world leading travel technology providers such as Mezi, SAP, Concur (they acquired his startup called conTgo in March 2013), Travelport, GetThere, HRG (formerly known as BTI) and CWT.
Johnny has been named by ”Business Travel News” as one the 25 most influential people in the business travel industry twice (2010 and 2018) – and he is a frequent keynote speaker at leading travel industry events such as CAPA Live, GBTA, Business Travel Show in London and many local and regional industry gatherings.
